Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a 187-bed acute Medical and advanced surgical hospital situated on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead, 15 kms south of the Newcastle CBD.

Lake Macquarie is seeking a passionate and motivated Registered Nurse to join our wonderful Orthopaedics ward. This is a permanent full-time night duty position. 

What we're looking for

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in an acute setting
• Experience in acute Orthopaedics is not essential but highly desirable 
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
• Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
