About Role:
Join a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality care across inpatient rehabilitation, day rehabilitation and acute services. With opportunities to work across three Ramsay sister hospitals on the Sunshine Coast (SCUPH, Noosa + Selangor), this role offers variety, flexibility and the chance to develop a broad and rewarding clinical skill set.
We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Casual Occupational Therapist to provide patient-centred care across a range of clinical settings. Working alongside physiotherapists, speech pathologists, allied health assistants, dieticians, nursing staff and medical specialists, you will play a key role in helping patients maximise their independence and achieve meaningful outcomes.
This position offers the opportunity to work across three hospitals, providing exposure to more shift opportunities, a diverse caseload and a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across acute, inpatient rehabilitation and day rehabilitation programs.
- Assess, plan and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient goals.
- Participate effectively within a large multidisciplinary team.
- Complete clinical documentation and communication in a timely manner.
- Contribute to discharge planning and equipment recommendations.
- Provide education and support to patients, families and carers.
- Maintain a flexible approach to changing clinical priorities and service demands.
About you:
We are looking for a clinician who is:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with AHPRA registration
- Sound clinical reasoning and clinical decision-making skills
- Previous experience working in an acute or rehabilitation/hospital setting is desirable
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and workloads
- Confidently work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexible and positive approach to work.
