Caboolture Private Hospital is a fully accredited surgical and medical hospital situated in the outer Northern reaches of Brisbane - at the southern end of the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Our 43-bed Medical/Surgical specialises in the care and support of patients requiring ongoing medical care, recovery from surgical procedures, or day services including infusion and cytotoxic therapies for chronic illness and cancer including chemotherapy, haematological treatments, iron infusions, blood infusions and specialist drug infusions.

We are on the lookout for a vibrant and eager Patient Services Assistant to become an integral member within our hospital on a casual basis. As part of this nurturing team, you will contribute to delivering dedicated and specialised care to our patients. In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager, offering an exciting pathway into the world of healthcare.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should embody a positive and effective team spirit, showcasing excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

You should also bring the following:

• Availability for a flexible roster covering Monday - Friday shifts depending on the needs of the department
• Self-motivated and capable of working efficiently following directions
• Understanding of infection control principles
• Experience working in a hospital environment (highly desirable)
