Job Description
Joondalup Health Campus has an exciting opportunity for experienced CSSD Technician's to join their friendly team in the new Theatre Complex. As a CSSD Technician you will be responsible for ensuring that high standards for cleaning, sorting, assembling, packaging and sterilising of Reusable Medical Devices used in the Operating Theatres and Ward areas, is always maintained.
This will also involve, but is not limited to:
- Maintaining cleanliness of all work areas including benches, trolleys, machines and equipment
- Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, packing and sterilising Reusable Medical Devices ensuring any damage is reported in a timely manner
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong work ethic, punctuality, integrity, respect and a commitment to professional practice. Prior SSD Technician experience, proficiency in sterilisation is essential.
You will also bring:
- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services
- Prior CSSD Technician experience is essential
- Proficiency in sterilisation (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and strong task orientation
- Commitment to continuous improvement and the achievement of excellence
- Available to work a 7-day rotating roster including night shift
