Job Description

Communications Interns
Paid full-time internship — Spring 2027

Who are we?
Henning Larsen is an international design studio with strong Nordic roots and values at the core of who we are. We work across architecture, landscape, urban design and interiors, and aim to promote a creative, non-hierarchical workplace, which fosters supportive environments and the freedom to assert and test new ideas and visions.

Our interns are an indispensable and integral part of our design community. As a communications intern, you'll be of our tight-knit comms team as well as a group of interns across architecture, landscape, anthropology, sustainability and business development.

Why do we need you?
Are you a natural storyteller who is curious, enjoys a challenge, and sees communications or marketing as your future career? Do you have excellent written communication skills and an awareness of new media trends

Then you could be the ideal addition to our team.

You'll be a key part of our efforts to deliver our 2027 communications goals and support our growth and brand recognition internationally.

The internship is full-time for a minimum of 6 months, preferably 12, starting in February 2027.

What are we offering?
Because interns are such a vital part of our design community, we invest a lot in the experience: carefully structured programs designed to ensure you gain the greatest possible professional value within communications.

Over the course of the internship, you will gain a broad insight into working with communications and branding in the architecture and design industry on a global scale, including:

  • Discover stories worth telling and bring them to life across platforms.
  • Turn projects, research, and design expertise into engaging content.
  • Develop campaigns that strengthen our brand and support business growth.
  • Produce articles, social content, visuals, presentations, and multimedia assets.
  • Capture the ideas and perspectives shaping the future of architecture, design, and the built environment
  • Work with designers, experts, and leaders around the world to create compelling stories.
  • Measure performance and continuously improve how we engage our audiences.

You will join a dynamic and international office in the center of Copenhagen, with dedicated and helpful colleagues, and be part of an organization that collaborates across countries and cultures. You'll work closely with a team that makes a collective effort to reach shared goals, while allowing individuals to take responsibility.

On top of that, you'll work in a fun, fast-paced and flexible environment, with an open learning culture focused on both your professional and personal development — and you can count on learning something new every day.

What are we looking for?
We encourage all qualified candidates to apply – regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic background, or disability. We're looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, and easy to work with.

You'll need:

  • To be enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s program within journalism, communications, marketing, architecture, or a related field
  • Excellent English skills with experience in writing
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, go-getter mindset — you're not afraid of pursuing new ideas
  • The ability to work as a self-starter and independently drive a project
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • A strong visual eye

It's a bonus if you have:

  • Interest in design, architecture, sustainability, and innovation
  • Adobe Suit skills
  • Excellent Danish skills with experience in writing

How do you apply?
Submit your CV and cover letter before 1st November 2026. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Please note that we reserve the right to take down the advertisement early depending on the volume of applications that we receive.

If you have any questions about the internship or the process, please reach out to our Communications Manager at [email protected].
