You will join our Energy division - Asset Management Department

As our new Lead O&M and Asset Management Engineer, you will join a growing department of highly experienced specialists based in Denmark and India. We deliver brownfield and greenfield projects for major clients across the energy and industrial sectors, including wind, Power-to-X, power generation, waste-to-energy, oil and gas, and other process industries.

You will play a leading role in multidisciplinary projects, combining specialist O&M and Asset Management expertise with project leadership and client engagement. You will contribute to high-quality project delivery and help build long-term, trusted relationships with our clients.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Project Manager or Technical Lead on Asset Management projects.
  • Operational Readiness Lead on EPC and major capital projects.
  • Lead O&M and Asset Management assignments from scope definition through delivery.
  • Ensure that operational, maintenance and lifecycle requirements are incorporated into engineering and design.
  • Develop and improve operations and maintenance philosophies, strategies and programmes.
  • Define scopes of work and provide input to resource plans, budgets and schedules.
  • Lead or perform RAM, RBI, FMECA, RCM and related reliability and maintenance analyses.
  • Optimise and standardise maintenance strategies, programmes and activities.
  • Support the development of asset investment and lifecycle strategies based on risk, performance and cost.
  • Structure and implement O&M and asset data in client CMMS and Asset Management information systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, quality assurance and guidance to project teams.
  • Build trusted client relationships and ensure effective communication with clients, partners and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to proposals, business development and the continued development of our O&M and Asset Management services.

Your starting point for constant growth

From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical, electrical, marine or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in O&M Engineering, Asset Management, maintenance, reliability or Operational Readiness.
  • Experience from projects within the energy, process or industrial sectors.
  • Broad multidisciplinary knowledge of technical systems and their operation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and reliability principles, including RAM, MTBF, failure rates, RCM, FMECA and the P-F interval.
  • Experience in developing maintenance strategies, philosophies and programmes.
  • Knowledge of risk-based maintenance, barrier management and safety-critical equipment.
  • Experience with CMMS, asset registers or Asset Management information systems.
  • Experience in technical leadership, project coordination or work-package management.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Danish or another Scandinavian language, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Asset Management principles and the ISO 55000 series is considered an advantage.

You are an experienced and collaborative professional with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You take ownership of your assignments and are comfortable working independently as well as leading and contributing to multidisciplinary teams. You are client-focused, commercially aware and able to translate complex technical matters into clear and practical recommendations. You enjoy building trusted relationships and supporting the development of colleagues and project teams.
