Your new role

As our new colleague, you'll join a dynamic and high performing team overseeing diverse global design projects, ranging from traditional gas infrastructure to green initiatives with a growing portfolio of onshore and offshore H2 and CO2 pipelines as well as cables for offshore windfarms. As we are busy on multiple and diversified projects, we have good upcoming opportunities, and your role and career path in our team will be tailored to your profile and professional ambitions. In your role you will contribute with:

  • Providing technical expertise on onshore/offshore pipeline or windfarm cable projects, including routing, alignment, mechanical design and analysis, crossings, constructability and installation methodologies.
  • Developing engineering studies, calculations, specifications, technical reports, design philosophies and employer's requirements.
  • Supporting project delivery through all phases, from feasibility studies and concept development to FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and operation.
  • Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams including civil, geotechnical, environmental, GIS, O&M and electrical specialists.
  • Leading the projects or discipline work packages and project teams, depending on your experience and career ambitions.
  • Supporting tenders, business development activities and client engagement.
  • Working closely with colleagues across Ramboll's global organisation to deliver high-quality solutions for our Clients.
  • Working closely with clients, build trust and Ramboll brand in the market

About you

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience in onshore / offshore pipeline engineering, preferably within natural gas, hydrogen, CO₂ or other energy infrastructure projects – minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Good understanding of pipeline design standards and industry practice.
  • Experience from FEED and detailed design projects. Experience with constructability, installation methods and construction support activities would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
  • Proven experience with project management, engineering management, package leadership or tender management would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
  • Experience with offshore pipelines and/or offshore cable engineering would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong oral and written skills in English.
