About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our impact assessment team in Perth, WA. We’re looking for the right motivated and passionate people to join our growing team of environmental consultants who genuinely care about what they do, helping to embed sustainability in how we operate day-to-day as a team and as a company.
You will be part of our rapidly growing impact assessment team, focussing on environmental assessments and statutory approvals for a broad range of mining, infrastructure and renewable energy projects. GRADUATE / JUNIOR CONSULTANT - Perth
As part of Ramboll you will work with a group of experienced and enthusiastic consultants in our Environment and Health team. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within WA and across Australia.

We are looking for someone who is keen to start their career working on a diverse range of projects across a variety of sectors, working to enhance environmental performance and sustainability. Your focus will be on identifying, analysing and managing environmental risks and impacts. This is a diverse and hands-on role where you will contribute to all stages of project delivery, including field investigations, environmental monitoring, technical data analysis and visualisation, management plan development, preparation of regulatory approval documents, and the provision of practical advice to clients. Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in environmental/life sciences, environmental management, environmental engineering or other relevant environmental qualifications
- 0 to 3 years relevant experience
- knowledge of the frameworks for environmental impact assessment
- confidence in assisting with environmental / social data collection and interpretation, modelling, impact assessment, monitoring and management
- a well defined approach to report writing and preparation of figures, including drafting and/or reviewing chapters and the ability to work within defined delivery timelines
- a strong team player with a passion for collaboration and a positive attitude
- a willingness to work with and support other teams to deliver services outside of typical impact assessment services as workload requires
- full drivers’ licence
- a willingness to travel (local, national and international) for project delivery. The position is Perth based but will require short term travel (less than 5 days) to project sites on an intermittent basis.
