Your role
As our new HR Business Partner, you will be part of a highly competent team of local HR in addition to assigned Business Areas global HR team. To deliver our HR ambition you will work closely within the HR Ecosystem with HRBPs, People Advisory team, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition, in addition to Global Center of Expertise. This position reports remotely to Global Business Area HR Director (located in the Nordics).
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Establish a strong professional relationship with the relevant management teams and other leaders in the business unit you are supporting – to become a trusted advisor
- Contribute proactively with professional expertise to support the strategic development of the business unit
- Be responsible and drive strategic and operational development of a learning organization with competence development in the forefront, hereunder implementation and follow up competence strategy and use of Ramboll Academy as a tool
- Drive and promote people and culture initiatives (incl. wellbeing, EDI and belonging) in Finland
- Facilitate annual HR processes, e.g., Performance & Development Process, Succession Planning, Employee Satisfaction & Engagement Survey follow-up
- Drive HR processes and projects according to HR business plan
- Lead and support the improvement, creation and implementation of HR tools and concepts
- Assist the management team in order to bring the best solutions to the employees
The position is preferably based in Espoo, but can also be located at other Ramboll offices across Finland, supported by our flexible working environment.
About you
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a HR Business Partner supporting managers on employee matters
- Relevant educational background (eg. university degree in HR, business administration, education, psychology or a related field)
- Fluency in Finnish and strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation in a role which contains both global and local aspects in different organisational levels
- Good at establishing and maintaining professional relations with internal clients and various functions across organisation
- You have a pragmatic approach to solving problems, are willing to help where needed, and are comfortable with practical, hands-on HR work
