    The Opportunity

    As our new Site Engineering Lead/Coordinator, you will support Ramboll’s Waste‑to‑Energy project as Owner’s Engineer Representative in Peninsular Malaysia. You will oversee day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring safe, high‑quality, and timely execution of construction and commissioning works. You will collaborate closely with Ramboll’s discipline leads across APAC and globally to ensure that project objectives related to safety, quality, schedule, technical compliance, and stakeholder engagement are met.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project‑Specific Responsibilities :

    • Manage and track engineering and construction document transmittals.
    • Coordinate daily with EPC/EPCC contractors and site stakeholders.
    • Monitor compliance with project procedures, quality requirements, and construction schedules.
    • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project technical requirements.
    • Maintain clear communication with client representatives and project partners.
    • Support governance processes including design reviews, inspections, testing, and documentation control.

    General Responsibilities:

    • Lead daily site project management activities.
    • Supervise construction, installation, testing, and commissioning works.
    • Chair and document site coordination meetings.
    • Review and verify contractor submissions (ITPs, method statements, drawings, QA/QC records).
    • Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and conduct regular safety walkdowns.
    • Coordinate with Ramboll discipline teams for technical clarifications.
    • Manage multi‑disciplinary interfaces across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process workstreams.
    • Support commercial and contractual administration, including variations and claims.
    • Represent Ramboll professionally in all interactions with clients, authorities, contractors, and partners.

    Qualifications

    Experience Requirements

    1) Engineering Lead / Coordinator (Senior Site Lead Requirement)

    • Full‑time site‑based role.
    • Relevant engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Process).
    • 15–18 years of site‑based experience involving technical supervision, construction oversight, and EPC/EPCC coordination.
    • Preferably with experience in Waste‑to‑Energy, power plants, industrial energy systems, or similar large‑scale infrastructure.

    2) Site Support Engineer (Junior Site Role)

    • Full‑time site‑based role.
    • 5–7 years of site‑based experience involving technical supervision, construction oversight, and EPC/EPCC coordination.
    • Preferably with experience in energy, utility, or process‑industry projects.

    About You

    • Strong background in engineering and site execution.
    • Solid understanding of EPC/EPCC workflows and construction management.
    • Ability to build strong working relationships with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
    • Strong communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a demanding site environment.
