About the Role:
Are you passionate about harnessing clean energy and want to play a pivotal role in sustainable hydropower projects? Ramboll is seeking a Certified Hydropower Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Energy sector across multiple locations in Norway. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of hydropower through technical excellence, innovative solutions, and environmentally conscious practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage hydropower projects from conceptual design to implementation.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation in hydropower systems and operations.
  • Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and Ramboll’s quality protocols.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver optimal solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, and technical evaluations.
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to project proposals.

Qualifications

About you

  • Certified Hydropower Specialist or equivalent professional certification.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in hydropower project management and technical consultation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform detailed technical evaluations.
  • Excellent communication and client engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant hydropower software and tools.
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
