Job Description

We are looking for experienced, ambitious, and skilled colleagues for our Life Science & Pharma departments in Denmark, which are part of Ramboll's global Service Line for Life Science & Pharma.

The Danish organization includes over 100 specialists in fields such as Process Architecture, Black & Clean Utilities, Ventilation, Electrical, BMS/FMS, Automation, and Process Equipment. We work on both greenfield and brownfield projects in Pharma, Life Science, Food & Medical Device industries in all design phases starting from early phases over CB, CD, BD and DD and followed by construction as well as testing and verification (CQV).

Projects range from Production Facilities, QC labs, R&D labs, Pilot Plant to Warehouse with Aseptic filling, API production, Wash & Sterilization, Hospital Pharmacies – where high demands originate from GMP, BSL, GLP, and SIL.

With all disciplines gathered under one roof, we offer integrated consultancy that ensures robust and regulatory-compliant solutions. Our projects are typically multidisciplinary and are carried out in close collaboration with both internal and external experts.

Your new role

We are seeking colleagues in the following expertise areas:

Project Manager

  • > 8 years of experience in managing projects in a GMP environment (production, equipment, facilities, utilities, warehouse, QC labs. etc.).
  • Strong execution of scope, time and resource management.
  • Focus on understanding client needs, team motivation and being a role model for structured project approach.

Clean Utility Engineer/Designer

  • >10 years of experience in clean utility design in a GMP environment.
  • Experience with design of WFI, clean gases, clean compressed air and clean steam – best practices, guidelines, legislation and requirements.
  • Experience should include clarifying user needs, and you should have strong understanding of cross disciplinary design for complex installation facilities.

Ventilation Specialist

  • >20 years of experience in ventilation design for GMP facilities.
  • Extensive experience in design of HVAC systems – cleanroom technology and design, containment, GMP and qualification, cleanroom tests and commissioning.
  • Experience should include clarifying user needs, and you should have strong understanding of cross disciplinary design for complex installation facilities.

Ventilation Engineer

  • >10 years of experience in ventilation design for GMP facilities.
  • Experience in planning, designing and supervision of HVAC systems with a GMP environment.
  • Experience should include clarifying user needs, and you should have strong understanding of cross disciplinary design for complex installation facilities.

Process Architect

  • > 5 years of experience in process architecture for GMP facilities.
  • Understanding of user requirements and how the requirements are translated into a compliant design and layout for a GMP facility.
  • Experience in preparing a layout with respect to cross contamination and mix ups.

CQV Engineer

  • > 5 years of experience in CQV for pharma facilities, equipment, HVAC and utilities.
  • Experience with preparing CQV protocols, test plans and report as well as the actual testing.
  • Understanding of contractor verification and risk based CQV setup.

Quality Assurance Specialist

  • > 7 years of experience in GMP compliance for projects.
  • Strong understanding of GMP guidelines and legislation to translate into design of the GMP facility incl. associated production, utility and systems.
  • Experience should include clarifying user needs, and you should have strong understanding of cross disciplinary design for GMP facilities.

BMS/FMS Engineer

  • > 8 years of experience in BMS/FMS design in a GMP environment.
  • Strong understanding of user needs for BMS/FMS setup and how the requirements are translated into a compliant BMS/FMS design (GMP compliant).
  • Broad knowledge of best practices and market availability of BMS/FMS systems.

Construction Manager

  • > 5 years of experience in construction management in a GMP environment.
  • Experience in facilitating construction management including managing of scope and time for the execution phase.
  • Strong focus on cooperation with all stakeholders – the construction manager is to be seen as a role model.
  • Understanding of contract management.
