Your new role
As our new Senior Engineer you will be part of a technically strong department that is pushing the boundaries for the use of existing bridges and structures through monitoring and advanced structural analysis e.g. probabilistic approaches. We are located in Copenhagen and are 23 employees in total. Technical curiosity, innovation and a strong team spirit are embedded as our key department values. For instance, we are now doing reliability-based analyses of two old arch bridges of cultural heritage from the 19th century made of riveted steel. To a smaller extent, we are also doing design and strengthening projects, like the Dybbølsbro bicycle bridge and the rehabilitation of the South Stand at Brøndby Stadium.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Project management and/or discipline lead
- Engagement with clients and close collaboration with other project managers
- Advanced structural analysis of existing concrete and steel structures
- Rehabilitation of existing bridges and structures
About you
- 5-10 years’ experience (or more) working as a civil engineering consultant
- Proven experience working with existing bridges and structures
- Great communication skills in Danish and English. German would be a great plus.
- Solid understanding of statics and structural analysis
- Readiness to lead and coordinate projects
- Knowledge on geotechnics, dynamics, monitoring and/or reliability-based analysis is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include:
You thrive working independently and take responsibility of your projects and your project team. You are curious by nature and open to new input. And you are client-centric, wanting to assist the clients and colleagues the best way possible.
What we can offer you
- Commitment to your development
- Leaders guided by our Leadership Principles
- A culture that welcomes you as the unique person you are
- Inspiration from colleagues, clients, and projects
- The long-term thinking of a foundation-owned company
- Flexible work environment with the possibility of working from home a few days a week
- Pension scheme via PFA including health insurance
- Technical excursions and social events
- 24 weeks of paid parental leave for fathers, mothers, and LGBTQ+ families
- Projects that are technically intensive and that enable you to make a real difference
