Your New Team:

You will work with a small team of experienced consultants and managers with many years of combined experience within and consulting for companies and public sector organisations. Our focus is on promoting a more resilient, sustainable society for everyone by helping organisations, processes and major development projects work better.  We develop and deliver tailored services to help each client organisation to their next step. Our clients include private companies, energy utilities, pension funds, municipals, state agencies - often in collaboration with colleagues from other parts of Ramboll within Energy, Transport, and Buildings. We also collaborate often with colleagues consulting in Digital Transformation, ESG and social impact analyses.  We do this primarily through:

  • Organisational development, shaping organisational cultures where people can thrive, with a focus on diversity and inclusion and leadership development
  •  Delivery of program management services, including facilitating of collaboration on complex projects between different stakeholders and suppliers/contractors
  • Change management, supporting organisations in implementing new ways of working with readiness assessment, communication and training.

As a management consulting intern, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working across a wide range of disciplines including strategy, sustainability, M&A, public policy, organisational transformation, and business development. You’ll contribute to projects that involve data collection, stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, and implementation planning, gaining hands-on experience with the tools and approaches that define modern consulting.

Our work spans sectors like energy, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, waste, and water. We advise municipalities, ministries, NGOs, and private companies, delivering integrated solutions that combine deep sustainability expertise with strategic insight. From policy evaluations to financial advisory and ESG strategies, we offer our clients a one-stop shop for navigating complexity and driving impact.

 

Your New Role: 

We will ask you to collaborate through the project life-cycle with us through:

  • Assisting in sales proposal scoping and writing
  • Assisting in planning and facilitation of client engagements including workshops & training sessions
  • Planning and assistance in collection and analysis of focus groups interviews and organisational data
  • Preparing and analysing organisational readiness & needs assessment
  • Assistance in project management through process planning, key takeaways from engagements and communication.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is currently enrolled in or about to begin graduate studies or relevant higher education—typically within business, economics, political science, sociology, anthropology, law, sustainability, engineering, public administration, or other social science disciplines
  • Is among the top performers in your academic cohort
  • Has relevant experience from student jobs, internships, volunteer work, or extracurricular activities
  • Approaches tasks with structure and demonstrates strong analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Can think strategically, operate at a high level of abstraction, and empathise with client perspectives
  • •Works independently while contributing actively to team collaboration
  • Is comfortable using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to communicate insights and structure deliverables
  • Has professional proficiency in English (Danish is a plus, but not a requirement)

In addition, we would like to highlight that this internship involves a full-time commitment for a period of 5 months, which is why it is not possible to undertake additional subjects or, for instance, simultaneously work on your thesis. Additionally, you must be enrolled in an ongoing academic program during the internship to be eligible.

Salary: The internship will be unpaid
