​​​Senior Mechanical Engineer with Machinery Directive expertise​

​Your new role 

​As our new​ Senior Mechanical Engineer​, you will work closely with our clients guiding them for compliance with EU directives and regulations.  

​ 

​Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • ​Advise clients on CE marking requirements for mechanical products, aligning with EU directives and standards (e.g., Machinery Directive, Pressure Equipment Directive, EMC Directive). 

  • ​Perform detailed risk assessments as part of the CE marking process. 

  • ​Plan, manage, and deliver multiple client compliance projects within deadlines and budget constraints. 

  • ​This role can also include being Mechanical lead for bigger projects. 

​ 

​This role will involve a mix of technical engineering tasks, compliance management, and client-focused problem-solving, making it an essential part of our efforts to support clients in meeting EU regulatory requirements.

Our results are created based on a high level of teamwork and dedication from our highly experienced colleagues, who deliver engineering and consultancy services on a global scale.     The primary focus areas of the department are the sustainable energy systems. Our services cover the disciplines piping, layout and mechanical. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC, and follow-up engineering.

​About you

​These include:  

  • ​A Bachelor or Master within Mechanical Engineering. 

  • ​Minimum 10 years’ experience within mechanical design preferably within sustainable industry, onshore gas projects, oil & gas, process industries or equivalent. 

  • ​Experience working in multidisciplinary projects across geographies. 

  • ​Familiarity with 3D design tools and preferably have previous hands-on experience. 

  • ​Have strong oral and written skills in Norwegian and English. 

  • ​It will be beneficial to have knowledge within Pressure Equipment Directive. 

  • ​Experience with working as Mechanical lead package engineer will be an advantage.
