Job Description

As the VP, Engineering, you will be a key member of our executive team focused on leading the engineering team to implement our product strategy and vision. We are looking for a player/coach who can build a strong team, but is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and coding.

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop and lead engineering team.
  • Design, implement and test web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with leadership and clients to execute on product design and delivery.
  • Engage stakeholders to align on clear, actionable product strategy and priorities to deliver optimal results for customers and our business.
  • Drive and facilitate the planning process to provide focus and alignment on critical strategies to delight our customers. Aggressively identify opportunities for improvement, and incorporate new product features on an ongoing basis.
  • Effectively collaborate with sales, marketing, services, operations and product teams to develop requirements, prioritize enhancements, translate into PRDs and drive projects to completion.
  • Evangelize the product vision.
  • Define, track and improve key product metrics.
  • Own the release management process in partnership with the CTO and VP of Product.


Qualifications

Technical

  • 5- 10 years of developing, implementing, and launching successful enterprise SaaS and mobile applications
  • Extensive experience with Agile, Scrum, TDD, CI.
  • Experience with AngularJS, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, C#, Java, NodeJs, Oracle, Sql Server, Mongo.
  • BS/MS Comp Eng/Sci. 

Leadership

  • 5-10 years of building and leading engineering teams.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Seasoned business leader and a visionary with proven track record of managing software development teams.
  • Ability to translate strategy into tactical plans.
  • Strong data, metrics, and analysis skills.
  • Capable of executing rapidly and efficiently in an unstructured environment.
  • Passion for transforming the future of work.
