Job Description


The Impact Measurement and Client Services Intern will work across Rally teams to support the development of our proprietary impact measurement framework and support client engagement, including public-facing research, impact investment strategy, and impact investment management engagements.


The Impact Measurement and Client Services Intern will have the following key responsibilities: 

  • Research and document a variety of impact measurement methodologies
  • Support the client services team on various client engagements, including preparing client meeting materials, supporting public-facing research, and other impact investing strategy engagements as applicable
  • Support the development of data visualization and slides regarding Rally’s impact methodology
  • Research and review impact reports from other investment firms
  • Support the development of our pipeline database


 The ideal candidate must have

  • An authentic commitment to working in a social purpose organization
  • Deep interest in and passion about impact investing, social entrepreneurship, social innovation or social finance
  • Started a degree in business, finance, economics or a related field
  • Strong spreadsheet and database skills
  • A record of high academic achievement
  • A strong work ethic, commitment to high-quality work, professionalism and attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a small, dynamic and supportive team, to exercise good judgment with limited supervision, and to manage time effectivel


    • Prior experience in an investment management, investment banking, or consulting role
    • A sense of humour

    Work requirements:

    The candidate must be:

    • Enrolled as a student in a Canadian post-secondary program and returning to school in the fall after the internship (graduate programs count)
    • A Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or have refugee status

    Additional Information

    • Start date: May 9, 2022, with some flexibility if required.
    • Compensation: $19.05 an hour, 37.5 hours a week
    • Location: Rally’s offices are at 317 Adelaide Street West. Applicants requesting remote working will be considered
