Job Description
The Crew Communications Specialist supports internal communications between the Restaurant Support Office (RSO) and Restaurant Operators by drafting, coordinating, and delivering clear, timely, and engaging content. This role partners closely with Crew Resources, Compensation, Benefits, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate communication of programs, updates, and initiatives. This role also collaborates with the internal Communications team to drive Crew engagement through the 1LV Crew app and other internal channels.
Your Impact and Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and deliver internal communications that support business initiatives, programs, and operational updates
- Serve as a point of contact for Crew Resources department to collaborate on planning and drafting of upcoming communications needs
- Collaborate with the internal Communications team to support Crew engagement strategies and contribute content for the 1LV Crew app, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Proofread and fact-check communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand and tone standards
- Maintain high-quality standards across written materials, including job aids, guides, manuals, and training-related content
- Manage and respond to requests submitted through the Communications inbox, ensuring timely follow-up and completion
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional communications experience, with an emphasis on internal, field, or employee communications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related Field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging, modern content for digital and mobile communication platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams
