Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Revenue Operations to design, optimise and scale the systems, processes, data and governance behind our commercial growth in our Telematics division. Working across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Account Management, you will be the operational leader of our entire go-to-market engine.

You will improve forecast accuracy, lift commercial productivity and build the single source of truth that our leaders use to make decisions - turning strategy into measurable, predictable and efficient revenue growth.

If you enjoy bringing order to fast-moving commercial teams and can point to the growth you have unlocked by doing it, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to shape and deliver revenue growth strategy, translating corporate objectives into operational plans and performance metrics.
  • Lead annual planning, including quotas, territory design, capacity modelling and resource allocation.
  • Own forecasting methodology and drive forecast accuracy across the business.
  • Establish KPI frameworks across the full customer lifecycle and monitor funnel performance, conversion, pipeline health and retention.
  • Design and continuously improve end-to-end revenue processes, removing friction between Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Finance.
  • Own the RevOps technology stack - CRM, sales engagement, marketing automation and BI — and drive data quality, governance and adoption.
  • Establish a single source of truth for revenue reporting, with executive dashboards and analysis of CAC, lifetime value, retention and pipeline efficiency.
  • Improve commercial productivity through better processes, tools and insights, including territory, quota and compensation design.
  • Build and lead a high-performing RevOps team, and influence decisions across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance and Product.
  • Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Operations or Business Operations.
  • 3+ years leading cross-functional operational teams.
  • Demonstrable success scaling revenue operations in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Expertise in forecasting, pipeline management and business planning, with a strong grasp of go-to-market models and customer lifecycle metrics.
  • Advanced CRM expertise (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar) and strong working knowledge of BI and analytics platforms.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead change and drive adoption across an organisation.
  • Able to work on-site in Crewe.

Desirable

  • MBA or other relevant advanced qualification.
  • Experience in SaaS, technology, telematics, telecommunications or another recurring-revenue business.
  • Experience of high-growth or rapidly scaling environments.
  • Track record of designing and managing commission and incentive schemes.
  • Experience implementing automation and improving data governance across a GTM technology stack.
  • Experience developing and coaching high-performing teams.
