Job Description

During the first year, you will focus on developing a strong understanding of business processes, systems and customer administration activities. Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Supporting day-to-day Sales Operations activities.
  • Maintaining customer and business data within internal systems.
  • Assisting with reporting, analysis and process administration.
  • Developing an understanding of CRM systems and operational workflows.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business to support service delivery and process improvement initiatives.

 

The first year will provide a solid foundation in operational excellence, business processes and stakeholder engagement.

 

Year 2: Customer Retention & Renewals (sales)

 

In the second year, you will transition into a customer-facing sales role focused on customer retention and contract renewals. Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing a portfolio of customers approaching renewal.
  • Building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs.
  • Managing the end-to-end renewal sales process.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Achieving renewal, retention and revenue targets.
  • Using customer and commercial data to identify opportunities and mitigate churn risks.
  • Working closely with Account Managers and Customer Service teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
  • Developing negotiation, objection handling and consultative selling skills

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2:1 in any degree
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to adapt to change, responding well to delays or unexpected demands.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Good at working as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
