Job Title: People Business Partner – Italy, Portugal & Spain

Location: Milan

We are seeking a skilled and strategic People Business Partner to join our team in Milan, Italy. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving people-centric initiatives that align with our organisational goals and foster a positive work environment across our Italian, Portuguese and Spanish territories.

• Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development
• Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption
• Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable insights
• Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities
• Collaborate with the HR team to improve policies, processes, and employee experience
• Act as a coach and mentor to managers, supporting their growth and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with Italian, Portuguese and Spanish employment laws and regulations
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive organisational culture

Essential

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR or a related field, with a focus on business partnering
• 2 years’ experience of line management experience, 1 direct report as a minimum
• Language requirement: Italian - Fluent or Native and professional proficiency of English
• Proven track record of partnering with senior leadership and implementing successful HR initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools
• Expertise in change management, employee relations, and performance management
• In-depth knowledge of Italian employment law and HR best practices
• Experience in talent management and organisational development
• Ability to influence and drive results in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Desirable

• CIPD qualification or equivalent qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
