About the Role
At TABtouch we’re passionate about the web, and it’s key to the success of our digital channels. We love delivering amazing experiences for our customer and are now looking for talented Front-End Developers of all levels of experience to join our Bettering Department to take TABtouch to the next level.
We are seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to support the design, development and continuous improvement of our technology platforms, contributing to high-quality digital solutions across the organisation
As part of our team, you’ll play an important role in developing the next phase of our digital growth. We’re a big team but we’re innovative, nimble, and fun, and of-course flexibility is key, so we continue to support flexible working for all our team members.
As part of this role you will be responsible for:
- Mentor and coach team members, ensuring knowledge is shared with junior team members
- Undertake software engineering activities across a range of business services and applications including our wagering platforms and customer facing channels
- Work as part of an agile delivery team on the support and maintenance of RWWA production systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software delivery
- Undertake the development of new features and enhancements as part of the squad's prioritised backlog
- Actively participate in agile delivery team activities such as stand up, technical and business showcases, sprint/team planning, and retrospectives
- Ensure the highest level of quality and conformance for all software development within an agile iterative delivery
Qualifications
About You
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:
- Strong experience and a passion for developing web applications using modern frameworks, tools, and technologies including React, Typescript, Redux, Jest, Emotion (or other CSS-in-JS libraries) and HTML5.
- Applied use of best practice web usability guidelines and standards.
- Solid understanding of DevOps concepts including experience working with CI/CD tools.
- Experience with React Native or Native iOS/Android development will be well regarded.
- Experience developing APIs with C# or Node.js will be well regarded.
- Experience using AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda and Cloud Formation will be well regarded.
- Experience with Docker and containerisation in AWS will be well regarded.
- The ability to be open minded and willing to bring fresh ideas to the way that we work.
