Job Description

Annual Salary: $120,000 - $145,000 per annum + Superannuation  

As Wagering Content Manager, you’ll lead the development and execution of the TABtouch content strategy, ensuring alignment with RWWA’s overarching brand strategy and tone.   

With a passion for sport and racing, you’ll guide a talented team of creators and channel experts, lifting the quality, cadence and impact of our content to support engagement, acquisition and retention. 

Key accountabilities include:  

  • Own the content strategy – redesign the TABtouch content strategy into clear frameworks, calendars and campaign plans across multiple platforms.  

  • Lead and develop the content team – set direction, engage creators, manage workflows and build a customer-centric approach. 

  • Amplify key content moments – across racing and sport to spark conversation and drive engagement. 

  • Improve performance – establish reporting cadences, translate analytics into insights and continually optimise for reach and conversion.  

  • Drive channel excellence – tailor content to platform behaviours and formats; lead channel planning, governance and community management.  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital platforms, content marketing and demonstrate a proven ability to lead high-performing teams. You are data-driven, creative and strategic, with a passion for delivering content that engages audiences and drives business outcomes.  

  • Minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience leading a content team and creators, ideally within sport, racing or entertainment.  

  • Commercially focused with the ability to correctly assess the impact of decisions on business outcomes.   

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a constantly changing operational environment.  

  • Deep knowledge of sport and racing, and a passion for audience first storytelling.  

  • Data driven mindset – comfortable setting KPIs, reading dashboards and turning insight into action.  

  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management, with a track record of cross-functional delivery alongside creative, product and technology teams.  

  • A thoughtful approach to social governance and community management.  

  • A commitment to responsible wagering and compliance in advertising. 

  • Proficiency in content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, CRM platforms).  

  • Possession of relevant tertiary qualification and / or equivalent experience in marketing.   

  • Experience working in regulated industries.
