Job Description

About the role

Are you seeking a flexible work opportunity within a fast-paced environment? We are currently looking for individuals who share our passion for racing to join our team as Casual Agency Attendants. This role involves contributing to the daily operations of our TAB retail sales outlets located South of the river.

Duties will include:

  • Operating betting terminals as needed
  • Ensuring thorough and up-to-date race day information
  • Maintaining cleanliness of terminals
  • Reporting equipment failures to relevant parties
  • Operating security and generator equipment as necessary
  • Following defined procedures for TAB agency operations
  • Opening and closing the agency on days rostered for duty
  • Upholding security measures as per RWWA procedures
  • Assisting in the assessment of potential Agents
  • Attending Head Office meetings as required
  • Report on cash deficiencies or surpluses to Manager Retail Development

Qualifications

About You 

  • Experience in the delivery of high-level standards in a front counter customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cash handling skills 
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of RWWA / TAB products and services
  • Basic computer literacy skills – Microsoft Office / Windows environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with or without supervision
