Job Description

About the Role 

Our Iteration Managers thrive in a fast-paced environment and are the driving force behind our teams. They help the organisation by creating an environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This role is a Maximum Term Contract for 12 months based at our Osborne Park office.

Their responsibilities include: 

  • Ensure productivity of assigned squads in constantly evaluated and aligned to the expectations of RWWA
  • Responsible for the overall operating rhythm of assigned squads
  • Collaborate with the Product Management and Tech teams to ensure delivery of productivity focused outcomes and ensure that team effectiveness has clear visibility and transparency
  • Undertake a lead role driving positive change, improvements, and successful delivery across teams

Qualifications

About You 

We are looking for skills that will allow the successful applicant to fit in our team and culture;

  • Demonstrated experience in leading agile teams to successful delivery outcomes for customers
  • Sound presentation skills able to present to a wide group of people and engage the team
  • Experience in teaching agile concepts and practices
  • Ability to effectively harness and nurture skills within squads
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills to ensure effective working relationships, including leading, motivating, effecting change, seeking collaboration and building relationships
  • Ability to approach work with an agile mindset, being open to experimentation, challenging norms and not fearing failure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and focus
  • Knowledge of systems design and software development techniques in object oriented (OO) methodologies and technology would be highly regarded
  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification and / or relevant experience
