Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) is in search of an exceptional People Business Partner to join our People & Capability Team in a Permanent Full-Time position to assist us in providing a sustainable future for the WA racing industry.

The Opportunity

As a People Business Partner in an organisation entrenched with a rich history and connection to the WA community, you will work collaboratively across a diverse workforce to implement and achieve key business and people strategies and goals. This hands-on role will enable you to provide value and gain experience across a broad range of people functions.
You will regularly engage with managers and team members to provide expert advice throughout the employee lifecycle and support key transformational projects. In your new role, you will support key areas of the business with talent management and performance, team member engagement and professional development. This is a rewarding and fulfilling position in a high-performing Government Trading Enterprise focused on the continuous improvement of its business and its team members.
Qualifications
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have the following key skills and experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar
- Demonstrated relevant experience across a full range of People and Capability functions
- Strong understanding of the strategic and operational role of a People and Capability Team
- Ability to develop, influence and build genuine and productive relationships
- General knowledge and understanding of employment legislation, awards, industrial agreements, and relevant policies and procedures
- Highest level of attention to detail, ethics, integrity and confidentiality
- Previous government experience is preferred, but not essential
