The Opportunity

We are currently in search of a People Business Partner to join our People & Capability team. This is an opportunity to truly partner with the organisation to assist leaders and employees in diverse areas such as employee development, industrial relations and employee engagement. We are undertaking an exciting program of cultural change which will impact every part of what we do.

Qualifications

About You

Ideally to be successful in this role you will need:  

  • Previous senior HR generalist experience across the full range of HR functions.   

  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, effective partnerships and credibility at all levels of an organisation. 

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring professionals to deliver people related support across an organisation.   

  • Significant knowledge and direct application of employment legislation including the ability to interpret legislation, Awards and Industrial Agreements together with policies and procedures.   

  • Sound knowledge and understanding job evaluation and classification.  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.   

  • High level of conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines and deliver high quality outcomes.   

  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
