Job Description

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity for an Admin Superstar to join our team has arisen within our Racing Marketing Department on a 12-month maximum term contract. We are looking for someone with sharp admin skills to support our busy team.

You will contribute to the delivery of a class leading experience for all stakeholders of our truly unique Industry.

In this role you will be involved with:

  • Coordinating and managing event collateral including artwork, signage, merchandise, etc. from initial brief through to final product
  • Assisting the Events Team with facilitating hospitality invitations, RSVPs and ticketing
  •  Event set up and coordinating on-site materials such as flyers and merchandise
  • Posting campaign reports and weekly EDM invites to racehorse owners
  • Stakeholder management including organising meetings
  • Provide event and administrative support, attend industry events
  • Support with database management and customer segmentation

 

 

Qualifications

About You 

You have a keen eye for detail and you thrive on finding efficient ways of doing things. You love a spreadsheet as much as you love delivering great customer experiences. Ideally to be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including:  Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Teams, Forms. 
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in marketing and/or events. 
  • Organisational abilities to manage a variety of tasks to meet deadlines.   
  • Negotiation skills and communication skills to successfully interact and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
