As well as controlling thoroughbred, harness and greyhound racing in Western Australia, RWWA operates the TAB which has more than 300 off-course retail outlets, a call centre and online betting services. Our motto is Better Your Bet because increasing profits through Western Australia’s own TAB means better returns for the local racing sector and state-wide communities.

The TAB is powered by the Bettering Department has transformed how we provide the pinnacle of sporting and racing excellence to our customers through a broad digital and retail portfolio. Our squads include product owners, full stack developers, scrum masters, business analysts, data analysts, UX designers and automation testers that all love what they do. We’re looking for a number of talented Software Development Team Leads to help us expand our software development team as we build out the next phase of our technical and product capability.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and dynamic team, where the challenge is to continually innovate our technical systems and build seamless user experiences for our valued customers.  You’ll be able to take the opportunity to lead a new Squad and influence the architecture and solution design of our flagship TABtouch digital products.

We are looking for the following skills that will allow the successful applicant to fit in our team and culture;

• Have successfully led software teams consisting of a variety of skills and experienced developers 

• Have a passion for helping build complex and innovative technical solutions using modern frameworks tools and technologies such as .Net and React 

• Possess a collaborative leadership style with the ability to successfully influence and engage a range of stakeholders 

• Experience in public cloud platforms would be desired, but not required. We’ll help you get up to speed if you need to 

• Have a deep understanding and practical application of agile methodologies with a key focus on delivery of customer value 

• Be a champion for change and have a willingness to try new things where the opportunity arises
