Job Description

We are seeking a Manager People and Culture on a full-time basis for a 18-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative, fun and employee focused People & Culture team in a truly unique organisation that is currently undertaking a large number of projects. Reporting into the Head of People and Culture, you will be responsible for: 

  • Providing advice and support to leaders on a broad range of human resources, workplace relations and OSH matters 

  • Developing leadership capability, contributing to the implementation of organisational workforce planning, change management and people analytics 

  • Ensuring implementation and continuous improvement of policies and procedures 

  • Supporting and mentoring your 3 direct reports and the wider People and Culture team to help develop capability in human resources practices

Qualifications

Ideally to be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Substantial HR generalist experience at a senior level with experience in the full range of HR functions.  

  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships, effective partnerships and credibility at all levels of an organisation.  

  • Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring professionals to deliver people related support across an organisation.  

  • Sound understanding of contemporary business, HR and organisational development theory and practice and track record of successfully developing, implementing and improving human resources programs and initiatives in support of organisational objectives.  

  • Significant knowledge and direct application of employment legislation including the ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policies and procedures.  

  • Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
