Job Description

We are seeking a Senior System Analyst specializing in Finance to join our team in Austin, United States. In this critical role, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing complex financial systems to support our organization's financial operations and strategic goals.

  • Analyze existing financial systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Design and implement new financial software solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
  • Develop and maintain documentation for financial systems, including user manuals and technical specifications
  • Lead system testing, validation, and quality assurance processes for financial applications
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for financial systems
  • Manage projects related to financial system upgrades, integrations, and implementations
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control requirements
  • Conduct regular system audits and security assessments
  • Train end-users on new financial systems and provide ongoing support

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or finance-related degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Analyst in finance or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems and software
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Excellent SQL and database management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with financial software implementation and integration
  • In-depth understanding of financial processes and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven project management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA) are a plus

Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:  The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $95.400 – $115.000. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
