Job Description

We’re looking for a highly organized and driven Integration Project Manager to lead the successful onboarding and deployment of new clients and technical solutions. In this role, you’ll manage multiple complex, high-priority integration projects, ensuring client requirements are seamlessly translated into effective operational workflows.

You’ll play a key role in guiding projects from scope through go-live - owning project plans, assessing risks, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking progress every step of the way. Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Create and execute standardized, comprehensive implementation plans for complex customer accounts.
  • Create a standardized project plan for each customer implementation (the majority of projects may be of complex/ultra-complex nature).
  • Validate project scope, resource requirements, and timelines with customers, sales, and business owners.
  • Validate the plan's scope and associated time and resource estimates with supporting business owners, sales, and the customer.
  • Manage activity specified in the plan and monitor progress toward each milestone.

Risk Management & Project Oversight

  • Proactively identify project risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.
  • Identify risk factors and contingency plans, communicate project status and critical risk factors to management and other stakeholders, and escalate issues as necessary to adjust the project scope, resources, or timeline as needed.

Documentation & Solution Design

  • Utilize client and IT documentation to define system configurations, product mixes, and service offerings.
  • Using information from the client, sales, operations, and IT documents the project's scope, specific requirements, operational processes, product mix, system configuration, and service offering to be implemented.

Transition & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and follow formal transition plans to move projects from the implementation phase to long-term support teams.
  • Develop and follow an appropriate transition plan to move the project from integration to ongoing support.
  • Document lessons learned from each deployment to optimize future implementation frameworks.
  • Document lessons learned and incorporate findings into future projects.

Communication & Leadership

  • Manage communication among stakeholders utilizing available tools to ensure that all parties are aware of the project's progress, risk factors, and required actions.
  • Participate and lead team mentoring initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, and share knowledge and lessons learned with assigned associate(s).

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work on special projects as needed as assigned by the senior leadership group.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Preferred: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to functional work

Years of Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

Skills and Certifications

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to solve somewhat more complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.
  • Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at the level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity.
  • Able to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.
  • May require knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments.
  • Able to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments.
  • Requires very good communication skills with the ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
  • Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $73,500 - $116,000 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
