Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Onboarding Support: Assist in the smooth onboarding of new employees, including preparing welcome packets, organizing orientation sessions, coordinating paperwork, and helping new hires settle in.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative assistance such as updating employee records and HR databases, filing HR documents, and assisting with report generation.
- Employee Relations: Respond to employee inquiries, help address basic employee concerns, and escalate more complex issues to HR management as needed.
- General HR Support: Assist with other HR functions, including recruitment efforts, coordinating interviews, creating and posting job ads, and contributing to HR projects and initiatives.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks and projects as needed to support the HR department and overall business operations.
Required skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional Information
The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $14.94 - $18.40 / hour DOE. This position offers a flexible schedule and requires approximately 20 hours per week.
