MISSION OF THE POSITION:
Provides leadership and support to the assigned locations, teams, and employees. Actively engages in employee relations and collaborates with others to ensure that objectives are aligned with the location's strategic goals. Responsible for achieving the short- and long-term goals and objectives of the assigned location(s). Monitors progress and develops action plans as needed to achieve strategic plans, budgets, and corporate objectives. Expected to lead with integrity and respect, fostering a positive employee environment, and fairly and consistently administering and enforcing all company policies. Also responsible for generating new clients and more profitable business for RRD.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- To promote the development of the organization oriented towards the achievement of quality and the constant improvement of processes, in order to achieve a leading company in the market of both printed and digital communications and graphic arts.
- Guarantee the formation of a successful and efficient human infrastructure, in order to respond at optimal levels with the established strategic requirements and demands of the Corporation. And its adaptation to the legislation of the Central American countries where we have a presence.
- Direct and control the operation of the Company in its legal, governmental and internal control aspects, in order to safeguard the production of desired results and maintain the adequate flow of information.
- Conduct the company's business, interpret and implement the corporation's policies.
- Develop strategic and tactical plans for each of the countries in charge, within the framework of the corporate plan, evaluate and supervise the implementation of action plans.
- Directing and defining market strategies to ensure that the company is able to detect opportunities, build programs and provide resources for strategic planning.
- Monitor and control the capital budget, business planning and operating budget which underpins the local strategic plan.
- Evaluate and monitor compliance with the strategic and operational plans of the organization's primary and support processes.
- Establish the financial structure and execute programs for the supply of the capital required by the company.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies, tropicalized, National and International Laws and Regulations.
- Comply with the hygiene, health and industrial safety regulations, order and cleanliness that govern the company, promoting well-being at work.
- Know the policy guidelines and objectives of quality, encouraging their dissemination and explanation among the personnel who report to them.
- Perform another activity inherent to the position and that is assigned by their immediate boss, providing support at some time in any other activity carried out in the natural area of work and/or areas related to the department.
- Comply with all policies, processes, and procedures established by the company.

Personal protective equipment and others: safety shoes, earplugs, etc.
Requisitos
Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration industrial engineering or related careers. Master's degree desirable. Education can be replaced by advanced years of progressive management and/or executive experience working in a variable print environment.
Areas and years of experience: 8 years. At least 8 years of diversified management experience is required within a manufacturing environment, preferably in printing, labeling, and/or packaging.

Schedule Type: Daytime
English Language: Bilingual, fluency in both written and verbal English and Spanish is required.
Availability to travel: Yes, possible travel to R.R. Donnelley Corporate or other facilities.
