Job Description
This Material Handler supports the Shipping & Receiving Department by safely, efficiently, and accurately moving and documenting product logistics within the department via electric forklift operation and the use of other powered equipment. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Process incoming loads
- Prepare trailer for unloading
- Inspect trailer and load (continue to observe for damage throughout process)
- Unload trailer and ensure separation of items
- Provide counts and location to receiving clerk
- Prepare loads for further processing
- Move loads to racks when receipt complete
- Process Shipments
- Pick orders
- Verify orders
- Prepare orders for shipment
- Prepare trailers for loading
- Inspect trailer
- Load trailers
- Other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of reach truck and/or forklift operation in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read, write and comprehend required documentation
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations

- The pay range for this role at the noted location is $15.76 to $19.06 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
