Job Description

RP Pro Services is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) Analyst for a Federal customer located in Washington DC. As the IA Analyst, you will provide C&A support and work with clients to develop and manage a secure computing environment. You’ll conduct security vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure and systems, and apply knowledge of the systems or enclave functions and their technical IA safeguards and operational IA measures. Additionally, you will ensure a contingency plan is in place and is maintained; you’ll implement and enforce all relevant IA policies and procedures per the system security certification and accreditation documentation; and you’ll ensure all designated machines have appropriate patches and IAVAs necessary. Lastly you’ll develop and maintain C&A and IA-related documentation.

The work location is Washington, DC.

Qualifications

Your Required Qualification: 

  • US Citizenship or Perm Resident
  • At least 8 years of IT security experience in the IT security Federal arena
  • In-depth knowledge of laws, directives, orders, etc., pertaining to IT security and directing Federal government agencies
  • Understanding of security requirements in a non-classified environment
  • Familiarity with IT security products (hardware, software, and services), technologies, protocols, and best practices
  • Prior experience writing material to satisfy NIST (National Institute of Standards and
  • Technology) guidance, FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act), FISCAM
  • (Federal Information System Controls Audit Manual), for non-DOD Federal agencies
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
