RP Pro Services is hiring a .NET Engineer to join a new team consulting on a federal health care project. As a .NET engineer on one of our Scrum teams, you’ll be responsible for delivering cutting edge applications for our Health Care customer. Your daily tasks will include coding, testing (more so supporting testing vs actually testing), using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in the part of the system you’re working on. Lastly, you’ll interact and work with employees of the prime contractor, employees of other sub contractors, and the client on a daily basis.

This is a full-time salaried position with benefits, but there’s flexibility for other arrangements.

You will split time between the team site in Arlington, VA

Your Responsibilities: 

• Write .NET & ASP .NET code based on requirements defined in use cases
• Write code to support operation and maintenance as well as enhancements of existing custom and COTs products
• Develop Object Oriented code and/or provide maintenance and enhancements to existing code 
• Work and meet with business users/owners to gather requirements, write functional and technical specifications. 
• Develop conceptual and technical design including use of Object-Oriented techniques. 
• Conduct unit testing and continuous integration
• Develop SQL queries and procedures
• Mentor junior team members

Your Required Qualification: 

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Legal Permanent Resident
• Have Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university
• At least 5 years in custom software development
• At least 3 years in .NET development
• Experience in agile or iterative SDLCs
• Experience with Windows technology such as: WPF, WCF, WF 
• You must also be a detail-oriented, result-driven presence who works well within team environments and has good interpersonal skills, as well as good client interaction skills.
