RP Pro Services is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to provide support on our federal contract. The candidate will be responsible for integration, functional and performance testing by creating automated test Scripts to ensure quality of Level Access products. You will be responsible for understanding requirements and designing test Scripts from the requirements. You will work closely with the product team including Technical Product Managers, Developers and other QA Analysts.

Your Responsibilities:

• You’ll create automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
• You’ll demonstrate test automation methodologies and principles.
• You’ll perform setup, configuration, and maintenance of automated testing environments with a focus on the enablement of continuous testing and DevOps processes.
• You’ll analyze requirements and tech design documents for use cases, creation of test cases, and impacts to the existing framework.
• You’ll build complex Core Java test scripts within the existing framework using Selenium while integrating with various relational databases.
• You’ll communicate the status of potential issues and outstanding problems to project and quality assurance personnel.
• You’ll design end-to-end test cases and the associated code required to implement them.
• You’ll support continuous improvement efforts designed to make the automation framework more sustainable, increase speed of execution, and decrease the amount of analysis required after test runs.
• You’ll perform quality control checks on software release candidates, determines final issue resolution status, and authorizes progression to next testing phase.

Your Required Qualification:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience developing automation frameworks and scripts in Core Java.
• Experience developing test scripts and automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
• Intensive and progressive experience in software application testing
• Proven experience in developing automation frameworks and automated functional test scripts
• Demonstrated experience developing automation scripts and experience with Behavioral or Test-Driven Development
• Vast knowledge of automation testing techniques to cover all possible corner cases for automation testing, verification and validation techniques.
• Proven experience in analyzing and writing automation scripts for complex business rules and rules engines.
• Must pass a GSA background check/Public Trust.
