Job Description

RP Pro Services is seeking an experienced Special Access Program Security Manager (SAPSM). You will provide support to the Joint Staff SAP Coordination Officers, the Combatant Commands, and Joint Staff Action Officers handling SAPs. The duties of a SAP Security Manager include, but are not limited to:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Using knowledge of the various security disciplines such as Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information System Security and Industrial Security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs.
  • Apply a working knowledge of: Executive Order 13526, NISPOM, the SAP volumes, ICD series, and DCID series.
  • Support the creation, processing, coordination, and approval of SAP Security documents and entering such information into applicable databases.
  • Assist in the development, review, coordination, and execution of a wide range of SAP and ACCM security activities to include: a. Preparing, tracking, and documenting Program Access Requests (PARs) b. Tracking and accounting for SAP material c. Reviewing SAPF accreditation packages, conducting pre/post construction inspections, and documenting recommendations for approval government approval d. Supporting SAP level meetings, verifying clearances, checking-in personnel, and accounting for documentation e. Preparing documentation for SAP action packages in support of DOD SAPOC and SRG, JS EXCOM, JS SAPCO Director, or JS Action Officer activities f. Drafting and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures g. CUAs, MOUs, and MOAs
  • Actively support Joint Staff Security Reviews and the Joint Staff Self-Inspection Program. Conducts compliance activities, staff assistance, and prepares reports documenting results for government approval.
  • Perform OPSEC analysis and provide other OPSEC support, to include identification of critical program information (CPI), collecting and analyzing threat data, developing, and coordinating program OPSEC plans.

Qualifications

Your Required Qualification:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active TS/SCI required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Four (4) to six (6) years of related Program Security experience. 
  • Knowledge of ACCM and SAP discipline’s security concepts, principles, and practices necessary to review, analyze, and resolve complex issues.
  • Skills in planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the overall security program.
  • The ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
  •  Certifications from the following DSSA Courses:  
    •  Introduction to Special Access Programs (required)
    • SAP Mid-level Security Management (preferred)
    • SFPC (preferred)
    •  ICD 705 Physical Security Course (preferred)
    • Orientation to SAP Security Compliance Inspections (preferred)
    • CDSE Information Security Management Curricula (preferred)
