Job Description

RP Pro Services is hiring a Quality Assurance Test Engineer. As the QA Test Engineer, you will be responsible for creating the application testing and validation methodology per the RTVM (Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix). Beyond creating the methodology, you will own the testing and validation of a commercial open-sourced/cloud based software. Lastly you will communicate testing results, challenges, lessons learned and other findings via reports or by attending client meetings.

The work location is split between Chantilly and Reston – with occasional travel to the client site.

DoD Secret Clearance is required – Top Secret preferred.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare test plan documents and write test procedures
  • Implement test plans within current guidelines by analyzing project requirement documents.
  • Review project documentation for all assigned projects to ensure that the project requirements are clearly defined
  • Design, develop, test, maintain and execute reusable test scripts across different test environments for consistency
  • Ability to execute test cases manually (if needed) based on business requirements
  • Coordinate testing activities across all business groups and clients
  • Work with requirements teams to define test cases and maintain RVTM
  • Report defects and escalate issues as needed
  • Work closely with platform team to reproduce and debug issues.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management
  • Good oral communication and writing skills

Qualifications

Your Requirement Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Eligible to upgrade to a Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 of experience
