Job Description

Job Highlights:

RPI Consultants is hiring a Project Manager to join our growing CPA team in Kansas City. The Content and Process Automation (CPA) practice focuses on providing software and technical support services for OnBase and Perceptive Content by Hyland as well as providing cloud based automation through Solutions as a Service offerings.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project, the team, the budget and the client for projects ranging from creating and implementing solutions to upgrades and managed services. Additionally, RPI's Project Managers work with the rest of the RPI PMO team to continuously improve project delivery.   

RPI Project Managers lead teams of consultants towards successful delivery of project goals and act as the primary liaisons with our clients.

Be the Point Person

  • Project plan development, updates, deliverables, and milestones
  • Manage scope, solution approach, and implementation methodology
  • Manage and supervise onsite delivery
  • Estimate resource requirements
  • Identify, assign, and manage delivery team resources
  • Point of contact for any client escalation
  • Coordinate status meetings and updates
  • Ensure quality of deliverables
  • Manage timelines and project budgeted

He/she will have a high level of sales and customer service skills and have the ability to think strategically. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills as well as have the ability to interface effectively with our customers (at all levels) and work with other RPI Practice Managers to effectively generate revenue where opportunities align.

Qualifications

Typical Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years in Project Management role, preferably for technology projects

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in a hospital business setting is a plus
  • Experience with business process validation, system configuration, data conversion and migration, custom developments, unit testing, integration testing, cut-over planning & execution, go-live and system stabilization
  • ERP, especially Infor Lawson implementation experience

Very Important Information: 

This position is nationwide and requires frequent travel nationwide (up to 50%) as well as the discipline to work from home as needed.

Salary: Pay commensurate with experience.
