Job Description

The Director of Global Government Sales will be responsible for managing complex accounts.

  • Strategic leader and adviser to the Government vertical market
  • Total vertical market revenues for Transient and Group lines of business 
  • Research, identify, and collaborate with appropriate industry leaders, customers and influencers to drive RLH Corp business forward
  • Attend and participate in trade shows, industry meetings, sales efforts, bid presentations, and sales calls
  • Evaluate and streamline business processes
  • Perform contract negotiations for various B2B transactions for Global Sales
  • Active support of 1300+ franchise hotel business and revenue needs
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas verbally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence, as well as motivate and influence others
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems; ability to help develop problem solving skills among direct reports and other Team Members as appropriate
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage details through to completion and ensure project deadlines are met
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand and manipulate basic spreadsheets
