Job Description

 

  • Oversee operations of the Hotel
  • Prepare annual budget.
  • Submit quarterly plans and actions for operations of the property.
  • Develop management and staff programs to increase guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings.
  • Maintain product and service standards.
  • Approve promotions and local advertising.
  • Approve promotions and local advertising.
  • Encourage Essential Principles of Service throughout hotel – provide internal and external guest service that goes beyond expectation.
  • Support the RLH Mission – creating the most memorable guest experience possible.
  • Aid department managers with procedures, service standards, goal setting and daily duties.
  • Participate in appropriate industry related community and State organizations.
  • Represent the hotel in public speaking forums.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public access areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance.
  • May at times be needed to serve as a Transportation Agent to facilitate transportation needs of guests (or supplies) in lieu of a dedicated Transportation Agent at the hotel, if applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned or as needed to create Signature Moments for our guests.

Qualifications

 

  • Thorough knowledge of computer systems: i.e. MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and electronic scheduling and e-mail systems.
  • There are times when you may have to deal with an unhappy person; you do need to know how to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and coworkers.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize well to meet deadlines
  • Behaves with integrity, honesty and is open with guests and fellow associates.
  • Develops effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives and agencies.
