Job Description
RIVO is excited to add an experienced IT Manager to our growing Technology department. This role isn’t just about keeping the lights on – as the guardian of our hardware, software, and network infrastructure, you’ll lead a talented and hard-working team, shape strategies, and implement cutting-edge solutions that keep us ahead of the curve.

What You’ll Do:
The IT Manager will install, maintain, upgrade, and keep organized records of all company software and hardware while also managing the security of our system network infrastructure to meet the evolving technology needs of the organization. The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently for seamless business operations while also maintaining exceptional security of our proprietary customer and company data.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the team strategy, goals, workflow, priorities, and assignments.
- Organize and oversee the schedules and work of assigned staff.
- Interview, hire, and train new employees on the team.
- Handle disciplinary action as needed and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely, constructive, and in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company provisioning, installation and configuration, operation, and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, software systems, and firmware, ensuring appropriate patching, support, and resources for seamless business operations.
- Perform daily system monitoring and IT ticket resolution, ensuring appropriate availability of necessary hardware, server resources, and systems, and resolving scheduled job completion in system application logs.
- Ensure network and system security through access controls, firewalls, backups and recovery, and business continuity plans, performing regular security monitoring to identify and mitigate possible intrusions.
- Identify and resolve security breaches and denial of service attacks, reporting incidents to appropriate staff and providing solutions to mitigate future occurrences.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization, conducting user testing to assess efficacy and implementing improvements as needed
- Effectively communicate and work with key internal stakeholders and end-users regarding site updates, hardware installations, anticipated downtime, and resolution of reported bugs, issues, or site outages.
- Upgrade company software and hardware infrastructure systems as appropriate and needed, maintaining accurate documentation of purchases, warranty information, new model and release information.
- Maintain user accounts and technology access for onboarded and offboarded employees, ensuring timely set-up of workstations and proper configuration of all necessary software and hardware
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiations, managing the IT department operational budget and ensuring cost-effective alignment with operational goals and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain a detailed internal wiki of software and hardware documentation, system infrastructure manuals, policies, procedures, and processes for the successful maintenance and associated protocols of our technology infrastructure and network security.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred. Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in system administration and network administration work, with at least 2 managing technology infrastructure in a call center environment.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert credential strongly preferred.
- Prior experience managing the technology infrastructure in a call center environment strongly preferred.
