We are now looking for a Chef to join our brand-new team at Radisson RED Reykjavik.

As a Chef, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that brings flavour, creativity and consistency to every plate, contributing to an atmosphere that’s as memorable as the views.

As a Chef, you are passionate about food, quality and teamwork. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering dishes that look great and taste even better.

Working across our kitchen operations, you’ll play an important role in delivering consistent, high-quality food that heightens the guest experiences. You will:

• Prepare and present dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail
• Support the smooth running of the kitchen during service, maintaining efficiency and organisation
• Work across different sections as required, contributing to a flexible and collaborative kitchen environment
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in line with company standards and recipes
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your work area, following all hygiene and food safety procedures
• Support stock control, preparation and waste management
• Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen and Front of House teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
• Contribute ideas and creativity to enhance menus and guest offerings

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred
• A formal culinary qualification is beneficial, but not essential - equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued
• A passion for food and delivering high-quality dishes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• A positive, Yes I Can! attitude and willingness to learn
• A team player who enjoys working collaboratively
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Icelandic is an advantage
