Job Description

Primary Objective

1. Being a team player in the team, assist the team to ensure smooth running of:

  • Credit Review Processes
  • Asset Quality of CMP Loans Portfolio
  • Credit risk issues including asset quality, risk & loss control for CMP Loans Portfolio
  • Onboarding checks for New to Bank accounts (deposit accounts).
  • Quality control for Credit Reviews and New Loans Application.

2. Co-manage in areas such as:

  • Compliance for CMP
  • Audit for CMP
  • Operational Risks for CMP

3. Ensure completion of all mandatory training

4. Assist Unit Head in ad hoc task.

5. Preparing training materials for CMP RM/BH on Regulatory, Ops Risk and Credit Risk Matters

 

Key Responsibilities

CMP Portfolio (Credit Quality Checks and Onboarding Checks)

  • Checks on Account Onboarding documents to prevent Compliance errors such as error in Name Screening and CDD Questionnaires.
  • Handle any ad-hoc projects / meetings / discussions pertaining to credit risk and asset quality matters.
  • Ensure Credit Reviews are completed as per SLA.
  • Conduct quality control checks on credit application submission (reviews and NTB)

Audit Matters and Compliance Matters

  • Ensure timely assessment and submission of Risk related reporting (KRI, KCT, LDC).
  • Assist Unit Head to ensure the department complies with all the regulatory and internal guidelines.
  • Assist in implementation and manage control / checking process to ensure department is compliance to existing policy, guideline and regulations
  • Assist Unit Heads to prepare reviews for Dept FM
  • Handle / Administer any ad-hoc projects / meetings / discussions of CMP

Qualifications

Formal Education

  • Degree Holder / Diploma Holder

Preferred level of Experience (by years/function/industry)

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the credit process, compliance, control and administration capacity.
  • Possess good knowledge in lending skills and processes, especially in the Commercial/SME banking segment.

Other skills required

  • Excellent analytical skills and keen attention to details.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage staff and work with other support units.
  • Able to work in a high-pressure environment as well as in a team.
