Job Description

What you will be doing…

  • Develop, implement & review the Bank’s talent acquisition & management strategy and actions plan to achieve effectiveness of entire recruitment process, building talent pipeline for RHB Singapore & building employer brand name in Singapore market.
  • Act as a strategic partner to provide sustainable manpower and talent resources in achieving the RHB Singapore’s vision & business growth plan.
  • Lead a team of recruiters to provide hiring support & talent management support to all business & support units in Banks.
  • Develop local center of excellence capability to provide advisory and introduce best talent acquisition & management and onboarding practices in RHB Singapore.
  • Plan & implement Employee Engagement, CSR & Healthy Lifestyle events to build staff engagement, promote a happy, healthy & productive workforce, as well as to promote RHB Employer Brand Name in Singapore.
  • Enhance and implement changes in eRecruitment and onboarding system in Singapore.

Employer Branding, Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning for RHB Bank

  • Work closely with Head of HR to develop, implement & review all talent acquisition strategy & action plans for Bank’s that includes identifies future talent needs, proactive recruiting & planning.
  • Carry out yearly manpower budget and planning that is aligned to Bank’s business strategy and talent needs. To manage the manpower headcount and budgets within the financial targets set locally and by Head Office.
  • Serve as strategic business partner to all Business Units & Support Units on talent acquisition matters. Counsel and guide hiring managers on the recruitment process & support on manpower needs.
  • Manage a team of recruiters to carry out the entire recruitment process life cycle including recruitment events/job advertisement/career contact centres, initial screening & selection, interview, offers & on-boarding.
  • Keep abreast of latest talent acquisition and local employment trend & provide updated analysis & advice to the Management for talent management & retention.
  • Develop, implement & review Employer Branding strategy plans & projects to raise RHB Singapore’s profile in labour market.
  • Plan, select & build new recruitment channels (including corporate & campus career fairs, virtual career fairs, govt career centres, referral scheme, social media, etc) to increase RHB’s Employer Brand awareness in Singapore market.
  • Optimizing job posting & recruiting channel, digital & non-digital to maximize the awareness of existing job vacancies & attract potential talents for Bank.
  • Manage talent management initiatives such as Succession Planning & Talent Pool Management for Bank to ensure strong talent pipeline, talent retention & majority key positions are filled with Ready Now/Soon Successors.
  • Develop, implement & review the recruitment and hiring standard operations procedures to keep up with the latest recruitment best practices to maintain efficiency, as approved by Group HR.
  • Conduct job sizing for existing & new created jobs for Business Units & Support Units which includes developing & reviewing current/new job requirements & job description creation.
  • Lead a team of 3 to rollout e-recruitment system across Bank in Singapore, including UAT, pilot testing, tracking log issues to ensure identified problems are resolved, planning end-user training workshops, send post-implementation updates to HQ implementation team.   
  • Plan & implement Employee Engagement, CSR & Healthy Lifestyle events to build staff engagement, promote a happy, healthy & productive workforce, as well as to promote RHB Employer Brand Name in Singapore.

Qualifications

Who we are looking for...

  • Bachelor Degree/Masters Qualification in HRM.
  • At least 10 years’ HR experience preferably in a banking environment.

  • Strong working knowledge in full spectrum of HR functions.
  • Track record of implementing major HR initiatives.
  • Dynamic, confident and strong leadership skills in managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
