We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Banking Officer to join our National Accounts Receivable team, supporting payment processing, customer enquiries, and accounts receivable operations.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer payments, managing customer enquiries, and supporting a range of accounts receivable activities.

Job Description

  • Provide exceptional customer service by managing inbound and outbound customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Process and allocate customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor and follow up outstanding receipts, unapplied cash, and payment discrepancies, including refunds.
  • Maintain accurate records and customer correspondence within the Oracle system.
  • Support the end-to-end order-to-cash process by identifying issues and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, banking, credit, or finance administration.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and credit policies.
  • Experience with Oracle Accounts Receivable (or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality.
