Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant to join our Talley team in Santa Fe Springs, CA!
Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for daily processing of branch bank deposits, monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and any journal entries required. Handles monthly recurring journal entry set up and posting, and supports external audits during the year.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform research and analysis of assigned accounts and explain variances
- Prepare recurring, standard, and other journal entries related to balance sheet reconciliations and month-end responsibilities
- Support external audit requests during the year
- Work with Cash Applications and Accounts Payable teams to research and resolve outstanding bank reconciliation issues
- Post branch daily deposits and work with branches to resolve any issues
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
What You'll Need
- Month-end close experience in a large Company
- Experience in preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work closely with others as a team player with a positive attitude
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a high-volume atmosphere
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines set-forth by Management including but not limited to month-end close activities
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience in working with ERP systems and general ledger in a large Company with multiple locations

For the state of California only, the base pay rate is from $61,000.00 to $81,000.00, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
