We are currently looking for an experienced Expeditor/Procurement Administrator to work alongside our mining & industrial team based in Welshpool, WA in a full-time role. As we well expediting, you will also ensure customers receive the best possible level of service throughout all interactions with the branch.
A bit about you
- A team player who excels in a fast paced and busy branch.
- You will have strong attention to detail, proven organisational skills, strong analytical skills and a commitment to meet deadlines.
- Strong skills with MS Excel as well as a sound working knowledge of purchasing/supply systems.
- Well-developed written and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical, research and evaluation skills, including the ability to identify and implement strategies for improvement.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks based on urgency for the customer, but with an understanding of the commercial impact to the business
- Experience and knowledge in the Electrical and mining/industrial sectors highly desirable, but not essential
What your typical day might look like
- Taking ownership of processed customers' orders, including; handling incoming sales calls; attending to requests to ensure timely management of back orders and DIFOT.
- Providing exceptional customer service and sales support to a vast range of trades who are the lifeblood of the electrical industry in Australia
- Analysing and providing reports on company performance.
- You will also develop and analyse data to enhance contract supply and maintain files.
- Ensure that queries are answered and followed up promptly and ensure adherence to company quality procedures
